Derbyshire Practice Learning Partnership (DPLP)
The DPLP is a relatively new and enthusiastic group of people who are committed to supporting practice educators/mentors in social work and nursing. Whilst our Steering Group has representatives from the statutory, voluntary and private sector in health and social care we are particularly keen to support educators and mentors in the voluntary sector.
We have held two very successful conferences which have been highly evaluated by the 100 or more delegates across the two events. We plan to run a series of workshops starting early Autumn 2009 to keep practice educators and mentors up-to-date with current developments in practice learning and assist their ongoing skills development.
